80 / BUILDING DIALOGUE / SEPTEMBER 2025 Opus’ Denver Of ce Pays Homage to its Legacy W hen Opus’ Denver team sought a new office, they weren’t just looking for an upgrade: They wanted a space that reflected who they are as a team, how they work together and what they stand for. With its mix of brick, stone, metal and glass, 1899 Wynkoop, located in Denver’s histor- ic LoDo district, is a celebration of old and new. It proved to be the perfect foundation for their vision – a vision the team of designers and builders had the distinct pleasure of designing and building them- selves. n Vision and intent. From the outset, the overarching goal of the project team was to create a space that felt unmistakenly Opus Denve r – open, connected and in- spired; equally embracing the best of Opus and the best of Colorado. To accomplish that, the team identified five key design principles that influenced every decision, from layout and programming to finishes, furnishings and technology. 1.
