The land- lord has invested $4 million in interior and exterior improve- ments, and $1.5 million in energy- efficient LED lighting and direct digital controls and life safety improvements. The Buell Foundation will move into the new space, which is nearly 2 miles north of its cur- rent office, this fall. The move ensures the foundation’s team has a modern and efficient work- space, according to a statement from Benchmark Commercial. “We appreciate the expertise, collaborative approach, and pro- fessionalism of Bart and Tan- ner from Benchmark Commer- cial Real Estate in finding this space for our team,” said Buell Foundation Vice President Erica Fukuhara. “The central location of Cherry Tower combined with on-site and surrounding ameni- ties provides an ideal environ- ment for our staff to advance the foundation’s mission.” The Buell Foundation invests in partners across the state who work to support and improve early childhood, according to its website. The foundation has been an integral part of the Denver community since its founder, architect and real estate devel- oper Temple Hoyne Buell, moved to the state in 1921. More than 300 buildings in the state were designed by Buell.
