Evergreen Devco Inc. began grading work on The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing, located adjacent to the new Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital, southwest of the Interstate 70-state Highway 58 inter- change. The 4.76-acre proj- ect is situated on the south- western portion of the Clear Creek Crossing mixed-use development. “There’s a strong need and desire to have local tenants that are on this west side, and not just a space that has a regional draw and is a convenient location, but has unique attributes,” said Heather Wiseman, Ever- green Devco senior vice president of leasing. “[The Lookout] really allows fami- lies to come together, bike over and enjoy a day in the park and grab some food and have space that’s not just catering to one demo- graphic, but really to cou- ples and families and kids and everyone that lives in and works in the area.” “The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing represents exactly the kind of thought- ful, community-focused development that Wheat Ridge needs,” said Wheat Ridge City Manager Patrick Goff. “This project will cre- ate a vibrant gathering place that enhances our city’s appeal while providing sig- nificant economic benefits.” Evergreen Devco acquired the site for The Lookout and Clear Creek Crossing, which is comprised of 560 apart- ments across two complet- ed communities, over two phases in 2016. Construction of The Lookout is expected to be completed later this year. “What’s special about [this site] is its location as a jumping-off point that’s super convenient between the Denver metro area,” Wiseman said. “It’s right on the way from DIA out to Summit County. We really loved that location, the easy access, the visibility, and the ability to capitalize on Evergreen’s various differ- ent product types [nearby].” The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing will feature a U-shaped design to frame views of Lookout Mountain and the foothills to the west, Evergreen Devco builds The Lookout Please see VanTrust, Page 16 Please see Evergreen, Page 8 Falcon Commerce Center will include two industrial buildings totaling 363,955 square feet on 23 acres at the West Baptist Road exit off Interstate 25.
