Pindustry, an “eatertainment” concept, leased 34,000 square feet at 1 W. Flatiron Crossing Drive in HiFi, a 25-acre project adjacent to FlatIron Crossing. Both HiFi and FlatIron Crossing are owned and developed by Macerich. Tami Lord of SRS Real Estate Partners represented the tenant, and Julian Hitchcock of The F+B Group represented Macerich. Opening in 2027, this will be the second location of the Greenwood Village-based entertainment company. MG2 is the architect of record for the new location, and W.E. O’Neil is serving as the general contractor. “We researched and visited the most popular entertainment and ‘bartainment’ concepts around the country to put together a diverse mix of activities at Pindustry,” said Bob Koontz, Pindustry owner and operator, and partner at Kelmore Development. “We’ve been having such a great time since the first launch in south metro that we decided to open one in northwest metro. Our motto is to have fun, love each other and be human.” Pindustry opened its 54,000-sf flagship location in Greenwood Village in 2021. Pindustry’s new location – featuring an entertainment venue, restaurant, bar and large rooftop patio with open-air views of the Flatirons – will offer dining and cocktails alongside vintage-inspired arcade games, duck pin bowling, live music and more. The SkyDeck will include room for 500 guests, while the entire venue will have capacity for 1,200 guests. “HiFi is coming to life as Broomfield’s neighborhood hub for all things fun at our thriving retail destination, and Pindustry will expand the menu of excitement and discovery here,” said Jacob Knudsen, Macerich vice president of development. “Pindustry offers experiences our guests and future HiFi residents are looking for, with games and activities for the whole family and an incredible atmosphere for adults to relax and play at night. It’s also a fantastic complement to AMC Theatres, which has been a popular destination for people in the trade area since FlatIron Crossing first opened and will continue to anchor the mixed-use project to the south.” Macerich broke ground on HiFi in summer 2024. The outdoor mixed-use redevelopment project will blend residential living, retail, dining and entertainment adjacent to FlatIron Crossing. Macerich’s internal leasing team for the project includes Meghan Kaltenstein and Jessica Janes. The walkable community hub will feature a number of green spaces for events and activations, including concerts, group fitness classes, farmers markets, festivals and more. The project includes Novel FlatIron, a new 345-unit luxury multifamily community developed by Crescent Communities. Novel FlatIron is expected to open in 2027. Located directly southwest of the U.S. Highway 36-Interlocken Loop interchange, FlatIron Crossing includes nearly 200 popular retailers and restaurants. The property’s positioning allows for easy access for HiFi and Broomfield residents as well as customers from Boulder, Denver and other towns along the U.S. Highway 36 corridor.
