Eggs Included, otherwise known as Eggs Inc., leased the 1,380-square-foot space at 1750 Wewatta St. Peter Pavlakis and Michael Pavlakis of Legend Partners represented Eggs Inc. in the lease transaction, while Lily Armstrong with JLL repre- sented the landlord, Ascentris - 219 LLC. The restaurant focuses on quick, flavorful and protein- packed meals centered around eggs, with its menu including egg-based pizza, egg bites, sand- wiches, Benedicts and more. Founded in Stockholm in 2019, Eggs Inc. was created by Swedish entrepreneurs Glenn and Elisabet Eriksson and is backed by chef Troy Guard of TAG Restaurant Group and for- mer Colorado Avalanche player Peter Forsberg. Forsberg, an investor in the brand from its inception, introduced the Eriks- sons to his Denver business net- work, which led the Erikssons to TAG. “The main reason for us choos- ing Denver is our partnership with TAG Restaurant Group, which has grown several strong and successful brands in Denver for many years, giving us an advantage in our rollout; they know the market very well,” a statement from the Erikssons said. “When spending lots of time in Denver during the last 12 months, we really felt all boxes checked for us, with our partner, the city itself and with other locals we met and interacted with. Denver is a vibrant city, and we are excited to get going with our first store!” Eggs Inc. also aims for sus- tainability in its sourcing and preparation. The restaurant uses locally sourced eggs and other ingredients. Eggs Inc. utilizes proprietary equipment that uses less energy than most quick ser- vice concepts while emitting less greenhouse gas emissions com- pared to beef. The restaurant will be locat- ed on the ground floor of The Coloradan, a 19-story mixed-use project adjacent to Union Sta- tion. Zebra Global is serving as architect for the restaurant’s build-out. The building is being developed by The Coloradan Development Co. LLC, which is affiliated with East West Partners Inc. and Slifer Smith & Framp- ton – Denver Inc. The project includes 22,000 sf of ground- floor retail and 334 residential units, according to the project website. “Union Station is at the heart of downtown Denver's vibrant activity, making it the ideal place to plant our first U.S. loca- tion and welcome guests,” said Guard. “We love the density of the local residential area, busi- nesses and the steady flow of foot traffic, including visitors coming through the area for the first time. We aim to expand thoughtfully and strategically throughout Denver and its sur- rounding communities. But above all, I'm thrilled, honored and humbled to be able to bring this exciting and fresh new con- cept to Denver, Colorado.” Other News n GRAND JUNCTION – A newly constructed, freestanding retail building sold for $5.05 mil- lion.
