Since joining the firm in 2016, he has facilitated over $120 million in sales and leasing transactions. He has been recognized for his outstanding achievements by CoStar Quarterly Power Broker awards. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Shirley has served on the board of Peak Startup, the National Institute for Social Impact and the South- ern Colorado Commercial Bro- kers. Shirley graduated from the University of Colorado Col- orado Springs. Rubley is the director of the firm’s health care advisory team. Since joining Olive Real Estate Group in 2008, he has a prov- en track record of helping medical clients with leasing, sales, strategy and develop- ment. He has leased the most medical space in El Paso Coun- ty. Rubley’s clients include UCHealth, Mathews-Vu Health, Peak Gastro and NSVRC, along with many other specialty groups, physicians, physical therapy groups, behavioral health, private equity groups, veterinary hospitals and dental groups. Winsor joined the firm in 2013 to further expand The Retail Group, a divi- sion of Olive Real Estate Group focus- ing on retail and restaurant leasing, sales and develop- ment. After g r a d u a t i n g from the Uni- versity of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2012 with a bach- elor’s degree in language arts and sciences in sociology, Win- sor began his real estate career as a leasing agent for Holland Residential. Throughout his commercial real estate career, Winsor has been awarded mul- tiple CoStar Quarterly Power Broker awards for top retail leasing and sales transactions. He is also involved with mul- tiple nonprofit and volunteer organizations to further sup- port and advance the economic vitality of the Pikes Peak Region, including Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, the Big Broth- ers Big Sisters program and the Colorado Springs Rising Profes- sionals organization. Dumas began his real estate career in 2003 following his relocation to Colorado. Since that time, he has helped hundreds of clients buy, sell or lease prop- erties in the greater Pikes Peak Region. A l t h o u g h Dumas has accumulated most of his expertise in the office space and investment market, he also has assisted cli- ents with light-industrial needs. A graduate of Dartmouth Col- lege, Dumas is very active in the nonprofit community in Colorado Springs. He is a board member of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. Scruggs, an experienced entrepreneur, joined Olive Real Estate Group in 2018. Previ- ously, he had established and operated his family’s pizza franchise, suc- cessfully devel- oping 10 loca- tions in Colo- rado Springs. During his time as a franchisee, he was recognized for his operational excellence and served on cor- porate advisory boards, where he contributed to the develop- ment and testing of emerging technologies. Following his successful tenure in the restau- rant industry, Scruggs pursued an opportunity with Amazon logistics to develop and operate a new delivery supply chain in Denver. He now primarily focuses on the industrial and flex market along Colorado’s Southern Front Range, assisting with leasing, sales and invest- ments. s Joe LaRovere joined RK Mis- sion Critical as vice president of operations. With over 15 years of expe- rience work- ing as a senior executive and consultant for various com- panies, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, including his accreditation from Refrigera- tion School Inc. and the Asso- ciation of Energy Engineers. LaRovere graduated from the U.S. Navy Propulsion Engineer- ing program. s Kevin Wieland joined Tower Capital as a senior vice presi- dent in Denver. The former principal at LaSalle Investment Management will be respon- sible for arranging debt and equity capital for investors to acquire, develop, reposition or refinance com- mercial real estate projects in the Rocky M o u n t a i n Region and key West Coast markets. W i e l a n d served more than 13 years at LaSalle Investment Man- agement, and its predecessors. During two stints with the orga- nization, he was responsible for originating, sourcing, structur- ing, underwriting and closing more than $1.3 billion in debt investments. The nonrecourse bridge debt was structured for value-add real estate transac- tions in the $5 million to $50 million range throughout the country. Earlier, as a vice president of commercial real estate and senior asset manager the REO group with Wells Fargo, Wieland was responsible for underwriting, structuring, clos- ing and asset management of bridge and term loans for insti- tutional and high-net-worth individuals. He also held roles at CIM Group LLC and Cush- man Realty Corp. in Los Ange- les. Wieland holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree in real estate development from the Univer- sity of Southern California in Los Angeles. s Jason Battista joined St. Charles Town Company LLC as development partner. He will focus on new c o n s t r u c t i o n project sourc- ing and execu- tion in high- growth areas that have his- torically main- tained ample affordable housing stock but are now feeling the cumula- tive effects of job creation and population growth outpacing housing production. Battista’s affordable housing experience includes 14 years at Mercy Community Capital, serving as its president for the past eight years, as well as serving as the senior vice president of Mercy Housing Inc., one of the nation’s largest affordable housing organiza- tions. Having worked more than a decade in the leveraged finance, capital aggregation and credit risk management space, Battista’s experience complements St. Charles’ skill sets in development, entitle- ment, and construction man- agement. Battista holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the Uni- versity of Northern Colorado, an MBA from the University of Colorado and a Certificate in Real Estate Development and Finance from the Massachu- setts Institute of Technology. s Marek Klonowski, PE, joined Northern Engineering Servic- es Inc. as senior project man- ager. In addition to his project m a n a g e - ment duties, Klonowski will be responsible for mentor- ing and career development. He is a licensed civil engineer with over 25 years of expe- rience in commercial, residen- tial subdivisions, multifamily, industrial, intermodal facilities, airports, municipal engineering and transportation. Klonowski earned a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Insti- tute of Technology and a mas- ter of project management from Northwestern University. Ryan Banning, PE, joined the firm as munici- pal project manager. He worked for the firm for seven years before a three- year hiatus. As a licensed civil engineer with 17 years of experience, Banning will focus on serving the firm’s public works clients as well as assisting with cross- departmental quality control, training and mentoring. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and later earned a Master of Science in civil and environmental engi- neering from CSU. Jacob O’Banion joined the firm as a civil engineer. A native of Grand Junc- tion, O’Banion earned his u n d e rg r a d u- ate degree in civil engineer- ing from the University of Colorado Boul- der. His expe- rience includes h y d r o l o g i c modeling, inspection and geo- technical engineering for a vari- ety of commercial, residential and transportation projects. He graduated from the Universi- ty of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering Tharen Helgerson joined Northern Engineering Services Inc. as survey project man- ager. He is a licensed land surveyor with over 22 years of experience in all types of sur- veys, includ- ing boundary, location, topo- graphic, utility, ALTA/NSPS land title, construction and as- built surveys. In addition to his project management duties, Helgerson will be responsible for developing and mentoring the survey team. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University of Science and Technology. Voneen Macklin joined firm as senior proj- ect coordina- tor. She has more than 30 years of expe- rience in both the public and private sectors, including 15 years with one of the largest real estate development compa- nies in Northern Colorado. She will be responsible for ensuring projects are running smoothly through efficient administrative process management, workflow coordination and scheduling. Macklin graduated from the University of Northern Colo- rado with a Bachelor of Science in business administration s Lauren Selinger was promot- ed to general counsel of Con- fluent Development. She has been with Con- fluent for near- ly six years as the firm’s cor- porate attorney and is seasoned in all aspects of advocating the team in development transactions, entitlement matters, leasing, loans and closings. Selinger brings more than 16 years of legal practice in the areas of real estate, construction, litigation, business and corporate work to the team. Selinger has extensive experience in commercial leas- ing, commercial and residen- tial foreclosures, loan workouts, lending and various other real estate and business matters. Prior to joining Confluent, Selinger was a partner with Gel- man & Norberg LLC, where she actively represented clients in complex business and real estate transactions and all types of civil litigation as a commer- cial real estate attorney and resi- dential real estate attorney. s Holland Basham Architects promoted Thomas Berry, AIA, to associate partner and Colo- rado office leader. With 16 years of experience, he stands out as a thoughtful leader with the skills to build trusted client relationships, lead a success- ful team, and manage projects to establish a respected pres- ence for the firm within the Denver area.
