Intelligence software com- pany DeNovo Solutions LLC and real estate developer Koel- bel & Co. announced Inno- vus, a state-of-the-art secure and amenitized community office experience, on June 6. Koelbel plans to break ground on Innovus at the corner of East Sixth Avenue and North Valdai Street in late 2024. The 200,000-square-foot, four- story building is anticipated for delivery in mid-2025 and is expected to cost more than $100 million. The high-level security facil- ity is intended specifically for tenants within the defense industry, like Department of Defense contractors, and aero- space and cybersecurity com- panies. “For many businesses doing defense work, finding a secure facility can be a major barrier to entry,” Danny Moore, pres- ident and founder of DeNo- vo Solutions, said in a state- ment. “During the pandemic, we saw tremendous growth potential in the Department of Defense industry, and real- ized there was a need in the industry for the next evolution of workspace.” Located near Buckley Space Force Base, the site is part of Plan West’s mixed-use devel- opment, Aurora One. Koelbel and DeNovo chose Aurora as the first location for the Inno- vus concept due to the high number of defense contractors in the area. Once complete, Entegris will increase its production capa- bilities for its most advanced filtration and purification products as well as wafer carriers, also known as front- opening-unified pods. Entegris expects to add approximately 600 new jobs in Colorado Springs over the next several years. Bill Shaner, president of the Advanced Materials Handling divisions, said the new plant, supported by state and local incentives, doubles the company’s pres- ence in Colorado and further expands its manufacturing presence in the U.S. “Our administration has worked to expand Colorado’s technology and advanced manufacturing industries and to create an economy where we foster innovation,” Gov.
