The main event featured the Litch eld Blues versus the Dassel-Cokato Saints in a North Star League game. Each year, Darwin promotes this special night as a celebration of town team baseball, supporting and paying tribute to amateur baseball in neighboring com- munities. Darwin’s last home team was in 1957, and although it’s been more than 65 years, the community takes pride in being a baseball town. The evening’s festivities started with a ballpark bar-b-q and old-time music.
